Laura strongly believes in the right of all young people to have access and opportunities for education in the arts and believes this benefits all of us in society. She works for the International Baccalaureate as deputy examiner for Art History - a position involving the design, authoring and assessment of the subject across the globe. With a doctorate in Art History (Education), she has taught art history and visual literacy at university, secondary and primary levels. Laura has experience in the charitable sector, having co-founded an organisation, Art History in Schools (2010) to support teacher training and opportunities for state school teachers and students. She sits on the editorial board of two academic art education journals, and is a Chair of governors for a Norfolk primary school.
