Jordan is a trombonist and music educator from Wolverhampton whose own musical journey began through free brass tuition in school and support from Wolverhampton Music Service. Having experienced how access to music can transform a young person’s life, he is deeply committed to creating those same opportunities for the next generation.

A graduate of Huddersfield University and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Jordan studied both jazz and classical trombone with leading UK performers and was awarded the Conservatoire’s Post-Graduate Pedagogy Prize for his dedication to music education. He also received scholarship-supported training as part of the Kodály-Inspired Student Programme.

Before joining Future Talent, Jordan built a career across the West Midlands as a brass tutor with Wolverhampton Music Service, In Harmony Telford and Stoke, and Services For Education, working in school and community settings to support inclusive musical progression. He has also contributed nationally through his work with the National Children’s Orchestra. Alongside this, Jordan serves as a musician in the Army Reserves, representing the British Army in performances and engagements across the UK and overseas, and performs regularly in big bands, function bands, and orchestras throughout the region.

As West Midlands Relationship Manager, Jordan draws on his professional network, lived experience, and commitment to equitable access to ensure that talented young musicians are supported to develop and thrive.
