Presented annually by Future Talent, the Harvey Parker Award celebrates an exceptional emerging musician specialising in a woodwind instrument. The award was created in memory of Harvey Parker, a gifted flautist and former Future Talent young musician whose artistry left a lasting impact. In honouring Harvey’s legacy, the award aims to support and inspire the next generation of talented woodwind players as they continue to grow in their musical journeys with a £2,000 grant to cover essential musical costs.
On receiving the news, Nahuel shared: “This has been an amazing surprise! The opportunities that will come with the award are very valuable for my music career. I'm extremely grateful to Future Talent for the continuous support.”
We are incredibly proud of Nahuel’s achievements so far, which so far include performances at Budleigh Music Festival, 11 Downing Street, and he even co-wrote an original piece of music for Future Talent's 20th Anniversary. We're excited to see what his next steps are!
